Progress on the Old Homestead. :-) Part Deux The Handle

We have decoded on a 32" customized Hoffman Handle for the Homestead. AAA Select Hickory just like our other handles. Here the handle has just been fitted before applying the wedge, cutting the excess handle above the eye, and shaping the end-knob or swell-knob of the axe.
